SF $5 To celebrate the birth month of Astor Piazzolla (March 11, 1921 - July 4, 1992), this will be a night dedicated to primarily listening with friends to the music of Astor Piazzolla and those he influenced. If you feel "el duende" and need to dance, claim an area on the floor with a partner and dance stationary since there will not be a line of dance. Although deeply rooted in Argentine Tango, Piazzolla combined it with music genres from other countries (Jazz, Classical....) so feel free to explore combining the appropriate social dance genres as in a dance practice setting. We only ask to be aware of your space and the space of others and be willing to share your creative ideas. This is not a swing/jazz party, nor a tango/milonga party, nor a classical music party...
