Friday at the Palo Alto milonga to welcome Graciela Gonzales back to the Bay Area. She will be teaching an 1 1/2 hour class on turns. Graciela is known as the "teacher of the teachers"-- her teaching method is innovative, the result of years of researching and studying body language. I hope you'll join us this Friday for her class. *Note: The milonga on 10/10 will be at 305 N. California. In November we will return to our regular 555 Waverley location.

Graciela Gonzales is recognized throughout the world and specially among the
most traditional"Milongueros" in Buenos Aires for her ability to integrate new
teaching ideas while preserving the elegance of Salon Style Tango. Graciela
started dancing in 1988, her teachers, the "giants" of Argentine Tango: "Puppy"
Castello, Pepito Avellaneda, Antonio Todaro, Gustavo Naveira, Tete, "Lampazo",
Eduardo Pareja "Parejita", Nito & Elba and many others. Among her students that
after become professional dancers, we can name: Mora Godoy, Lorena Ermocida,
Corina de la Rosa, Luciana Valle, Florencia Taccetti, Fernanda Ghi, Marcela
Duran, Karina Romero, Nancy Lousan, Elina Roldan and many others. Her teaching
method is innovative, the result of her many years of researching and studying
body language and also what she experienced dancing with the "Milongueros".
Graciela is also the first teacher to introduce the Technique Seminars for Women
(1994) and the Technique Seminars for Men (1995).
If you are new in Tango you "have to" meet Graciela and if you already a
Tanguero/a you know what I'm talking about. Don't miss this opportunity! She
comes to the Bay Area only once in a while.
