Legendary Omar Vega teaches at The Belrose Theater, 1415 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, CA

His trademark is a calm style based on rhythmically flowing movements with fast "traspie." His use of traspie technique allows the dancer to play with the beat within the traditional core of tango.

Omar is the acknowledged master of rhythm, and is internationally famous for his extremely rhythmic style of dancing milonga traspie. He is unsurpassed in the small, syncopated steps that make milonga an expressive and passionate experience.

The Belrose Milonga is the best kept secret in the Bay Area -- situated in a small quaint stand-alone playhouse theater in San Rafael. Enjoy a great sound system, wonderful music, hardwood floors, cozy mood lighting and good dancers in a friendly warm setting reminiscent of Buenos Aires. Food, snacks and drinks will be provided.
