Agustina and Claudio return to the Bay Area!

Their dancing is a combination of ³nuevo tango² moves and the clean feet and
elegant posture of classical tango.

Claudio was here a year ago when he taught with Lisette Perelle. I took the
class myself and all of us in the class thought it was really outstanding.
You can really see that Claudio and Agustina¹s teaching method is the result
of careful thought and planning because everything works to the students¹
advantage. The preliminary exercises were especially helpful because they
related directly to the material they were teaching. Here¹s some of what
they say themselves:

³We developed a vocabulary of "figures" and movements that can be
easily applied to social dancing.

Each of these figures works as an example of every technique in
detail, and at the same time helps to incorporate the vocabulary
("steps","figures").

As the classes proceed, the student can visualize and understand how
the smallest number of elements can create infinite combinations in
the dance (as the alphabet creates all the known words).

We also developed a series of individual exercises incorporated in each of
the classes, and they help students succeed in performing the particular
figure taught in that class.

Our classes are progressive and the more complex material is added to the
movements that already have been taught.²

Sign up with a partner for an extra discount!
You and a partner can add your classes together for the following higher
discounts:

12 workshops--$240
10 workshops--$210
8 workshops--$170

For example, if you and a partner take all six workshops, you can add them
together for the 12 workshop rate of $240, or $120 each; or if you take 2
classes together, you get the 4-class rate of $90, or $45 each. You don¹t
have to dance all the time with the partner you sign up with. We¹ll change
partners regularly. But choose someone who you think dances at a level
suitable for you (and everyone) for the workshop. This helps us balance the
number of leaders and followers, which makes a more pleasant and useful
experience for everybody.

Prepaid couples have priority over prepaid single dancers in case the
workshops are sold out or the number of leaders and followers is unbalanced.
